Darada David - Singer

Darada is a South Bronx native who always walked across the bridges to Harlem. She constantly had visions of a beautiful artsy place with chimes and a wonderful air that breezes through it where a mother and daughter reside that she had to get to. When she heard the sounds from the street and walked into 449 she knew this was the place, home. Darada was first introduced to Jazz by her father and his record collection. She loves all genres and wants to heal the soul by tellin’. the story through song.

Christopher Hall - Bassist

Christopher Hall first started performing on the stage of the New Amsterdam Musical Association in his hometown, New York City, in 2003 and since has become a fixture in the Harlem Jazz scene, playing with Rahn Burton, David Durrah, the Harlem Jazz Machine, and others. Additionally, he has played trombone and low brass at Harbor Conservatory, and with the New Beginnings and Westchester Brassmen Drum and Bugle Corps. Committed to teaching through music, Christopher has worked with myriad cultural organizations including the International Society of Bassists, National Council of Negro Women, and the American Museum of Natural History. Recently, he moved to Taiwan with the intent to continue growing cultural dialogue through music.

Terri Vernelle Davis - Vocalist, Lyricist, Composer, Arranger and Educator

Born in Beaufort, South Carolina to lovely vocalist Pauline Davis and alto saxophonist and educator, Earl Davis, who jazz giant Wayne Shorter described as: "Earl the Pearl, the opera singer who played like Cannonball," Terri was exposed to beautiful music in the womb.

A graduate of Howard University, with a Bachelors of Music in Jazz Studies and a Masters of Music in Jazz Vocal Performance, Terri has shared the stage with jazz greats Wynton Marsalis, Lonnie Plaxico, Geri Allen, Carmen Lundy, Cassandra Wilson, Marc Cary, Anthony Wonsey, Steve Williams, David Durrah, Rahn Burton, Bruce Edwards, Bobby McFerrin and jazz ensemble Afro Blue.

She is a licensed New York City Public School Teacher, Shape NYC certified and licensed Zumba Instructor.
